6th Annual Summer Intensive with Eric Stewart

17-23, 2008 36 Hours, Full tuition: $450.
It is possible to attend parts of the intensive with the tuition
prorated based on hours attended. Discounts are available to holders
of Solaluna class cards and full-time students. Contact the studio
for more information. Also, if you wish to attend but cannot afford
the full fee we would rather find a way for you to participate rather
than have you not attending due to financial reasons, please contact
us.

This
7-day intensive offers the opportunity for a deep immersion into
the practice of yoga. In addition to sustained asana practice we
will spend significant time with pranayama (breathing) and yoga
nidra practices. In addition we will explore the relationship between
yoga and Ayurveda, the ancient healing system of India.

The
intensive is part of the 200 hour Simple Yoga teacher training program.
It is possible to attend the intensive without being enrolled in
the training.

Simple
Yoga is a method that utilizes the power of small, centered actions
to support larger transformation. The principles of simple yoga
provide a guide for practice and learning that is efficient and
aware, grounded in the support of the environment, breath and body.

|
Eric
Stewart is the originator of Simple Yoga. Eric has taught yoga in
the US and around the world for over a decade and is appreciated
for his clear, creative instruction and sense of humor. In addition
to teaching yoga, he has worked as a musician, chef, farmer, ecological
designer and body-worker. Eric directs Solaluna Yoga studio in Oberlin,
Ohio, teaches at Oberlin College and is registered as a 500-hour,
professional teacher trainer with the Yoga Alliance at the E-RYT
500 level.
